Happy New Year
Our first event of 2026 will feature Christine Brunsden,
Christine Brunsden is the Co-Founder and CEO of Benefits2, focused on improving access to the Disability Tax Credit through transparent, ethical, and affordable support.
Christine brings a rare depth of insight to this work, shaped by both professional experience and lived reality. She is a caregiver to aging parents with physical and cognitive disabilities and has seen firsthand how capacity can decline gradually, often without families realizing the planning and financial implications until it is becomes more difficult.
She is also a long-standing advocate for women’s health and greater transparency around incontinence. Christine regularly speaks about how untreated or unaddressed continence issues can lead women to withdraw from physical activity, social engagement, and preventative care, contributing to poorer health outcomes and, in many cases, earlier institutionalization.
In addition, Christine is the parent of a child with severe ADHD and the legal guardian of her daughter’s two oldest children, both of whom have intellectual disabilities, with one also living with a physical disabilities. Across her own family, multiple members qualify for the Disability Tax Credit and not one of them was ever informed about it by their doctor.
Through Benefits2, Christine works closely with seniors, families, estate lawyers, financial advisors, accountants, and realtors to identify missed opportunities where the Disability Tax Credit can unlock refunds, support housing decisions, fund estate planning, and improve long-term outcomes.
Her work consistently highlights the critical intersection between aging, capacity, tax planning, housing, and proactive estate planning, particularly before decision-making ability is compromised.
